TICCIH Europe is a dynamic collaborative platform for experts, researchers, enthusiasts, and institutions from across Europe, united by a shared concern for the tangible and intangible traces of our industrial past. We work to integrate European communities involved in the research, documentation, protection, and promotion of industrial heritage.
Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire, develop, and promote initiatives and activities that ensure the documentation, protection, preservation, and conservation of industrial heritage in Europe. We strive to ensure that the legacies of the industrial revolution and technological development are valued as a key element of our common European identity.
Main goals
We pursue our goals through four main pillars of activity:
- Strengthening international cooperation
We create networks and facilitate the exchange of experience between national committees, experts, and organizations in Europe. We work together to secure, research, and conserve industrial sites of transnational importance. - Initiating and supporting activities
We actively initiate and provide patronage for projects, conferences, workshops, and publications dedicated to the protection of European industrial heritage. Our goal is to build awareness and engage local communities in efforts to preserve their industrial past. - Conducting and promoting scientific research
We support and conduct interdisciplinary research into the history of industry and technology in Europe. We are committed to deepening the knowledge that forms the foundation of effective protection. - Disseminating knowledge and best practices
We share our acquired knowledge and experience in the conservation, adaptation, and continued use of industrial heritage. We promote innovative solutions that allow historic sites to serve contemporary generations.
We invite all individuals and institutions who share a passion for protecting the evidence of our industrial past to collaborate with us. Together, we can more effectively protect this unique heritage for future generations.
